a little redesign action, anyone?

i’ve seen a lot of redesign posts around the web lately, and have been thinking that participating would be a great way to add some personal concept art to my portfolio, and this idea i really liked (even those most of the entries are hideous!).

a handful of folks submitted their take on our currency (see one of their examples above). does this mean i will design some sweet dollar bills? maybe, maybe not. but i’m thinking beyond that at the moment, i’m thinking i should come up with my own things to redesign too. i saw a post of someone who made up some concepts for prettier airline tickets too, it’s just got my creativity sparked and i’m going to try and run with it now while it’s fresh in my mind. i’ve came up with a few things i am definitely going to do, but on the same note, can anyone else can think of something that needs a redesign they’d like to see my take on?
